Based on statistics, the search for online videos has been reigning the search engine top lists for a long period of time now. In fact, according to Mikes-Marketing-Tools.com, the keyword that’s most searched is the word “redtube,” referring to RedTube.com, a famous porn counterpart of Youtube.

We mean that as a compliment, really. It’s true that we have a soft spot for Robot Chicken as a result of co-creator and sometime director Matthew Seinreich once borrowing my phone on a noisy curb at Comic-Con. As a thank you, he offered me a not-yet-released DVD of Sealab 2021 he’d just been given. I couldn’t fathom “charging” someone for borrowing a cell phone and went through what I’m afraid turned into an eyelash-batting pageant of self-denial. What I could not have seen from my back row seats in the Adult Swim panel we’d just left, however, was that this was the same DVD Seth Green had just put down his shirt on stage. Susannah’s still mad at me over that one.

As a soccer referee for the past 5+ years, I have been involved in many discussions with coaches and players. I’ll tell you about some of the interesting ones.
I have a bad habit of talking back to the fans when they complain about me. It’s not a good practice, but it is very funny sometimes. An older gentleman, maybe in his 50’s was yelling about a call, and I replied, “If you don’t be quiet, you’re going to leave, and you will have to call your granddaughter to see how the game turned out.” It was a girls game, and I later found out that his daughter was playing, not his granddaughter.

I read a very small article this past weekend, burried in the back of the paper that Michigan DNR are stumped as to why 19 deer have turned up dead alongside the Clinton River.
Hmmm, do you think I need to stop drinking the water? I can not beleive this is a small story. Normal diseases that deer can die of have been ruled out. It looks like something bacterial. Um, hello? What is in my water?
Coincidentally, it was reported in the same week that two local schools have high levels of copper and lead, and the kids returning to school Tuesday can’t drink the water, and it hasn’t been decided yet that they can even wash their hands with it.
I wonder if we are being poisoned? You know, come to think of it, a lot of my health troubles started or began once I moved here 4 1/2 years ago.

I was on the tram on Saturday morning on my way to Japanese class, and this 40-something man plooped himself on the seat opposite mine. He was holding/reading a book on “Disaster Movies”, and on his other hand was a plastic bag full of DVDs. So I thought to myself, this must be a director or a director student who might one day make a movie like The Day After Tomorrow or Armageddon.

Often times I get upset and annoyed by something and feel liking telling the world about it. After a few moments, I start to think of how the matter is actually small and irrelevant in the grand scheme of things. Then I feel silly about even wanting to write about it. But hell! Why shouldn’t I tell the world? Everyone else does. And I think that my opinions are among the best out there. So here this one is. I want you all to know just how dumb music in movies is.
Unless it is a film based upon music and the music actually occurs in a scene such as in High Fidelity, then it shouldn’t be used. Maroon 5 kicked ass Friday night at DTE, here in Detroit. They blew me away as I expected. They played all their hits, even some other surprises, and 2 people managed to get up on stage, which was exciting.
That dude, Adam Levine, can frickin’ sing! WOW!!
As for Counting Crows, I have 2 comments.
First, how can they perform live and NOT play ‘Round Here’?!?!?
Second, what’s the deal with lead singer, Adam Duritz’s hair? I am saying it right here right now…it’s FAKE!!!
